2. Nature of the service

Forestream Care is a care-assist, event-detection and notification service. Its main functions are detecting predefined event patterns, initiating notifications, and presenting activity summaries.

The service is not a medical device, does not provide diagnosis, does not assess health status, and does not replace medical or professional nursing care, or emergency calls.

3. How a contract is formed

The website currently collects expressions of interest and quote requests. The typical process is:

• requesting a quote on the website (e.g. “Request a quote”),
• receiving a customised offer,
• entering into a contract.

Website buttons do not constitute an automatic order or immediate contract. Making contact does not create a payment obligation.

4. Prices and payment

Prices shown on the website are indicative only. The final price appears in the customised offer sent to the Customer. Prices marked “+ VAT” are net amounts; the applicable VAT is stated in the offer. Payment terms are set out in the offer and/or the concluded contract.

5. Performance / installation

Introducing the service typically includes installing and configuring devices. The method, schedule and conditions of installation are set out in the individual contract.

6. Customer obligations

To support proper operation, the Customer undertakes to provide:

• continuous, stable internet connectivity,
• appropriate placement and operational readiness of devices,
• up-to-date notification details (phone number, email, contacts).

7. Limitation of liability

Forestream Care is a technology service in which false or missed alerts may also occur. Operation depends, among other things, on internet connectivity, power supply and correct settings.

The service does not replace personal care, professional nursing, or, in an emergency, calling 112. Processing notifications and taking necessary action always requires human review and decision. The Provider’s liability is governed by applicable law and the individual contract.

8. Data protection

Detailed rules on personal data processing are applied under a separate privacy notice. Until that notice is available on a dedicated page, data-protection enquiries may be sent to hello@forestream.hu.

Incoming complaints are investigated and answered in accordance with applicable law.

10. Governing law

These Terms and the service are governed by Hungarian law. The parties shall primarily settle disputes by negotiation; failing that, the Hungarian court with jurisdiction and venue shall decide.

11. Entry into force

These Terms enter into force on 22 July 2026.

This English version is provided for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the Hungarian ÁSZF prevails.
